The Andalucia Bird Society Malaga Team and some other good friends carried out the traditional January trip to the Sevillian farmlands around Osuna and Lantejuela.

My dear Friends Barbara and Derek and I had a wonderful Christmas outing visiting the Valley of the Guadalhorce, Guadalteba farmlands and Fuente de Piedra Lake for a good record of 83 species.

We enjoyed a nice birdwalking trip in excelent weather to record most of the gems of El Chorro including Griffon Vulture, Peregrine Falcon, Golden and Bonelli’s Eagles, Sardinian and Dartford Warblers, Thekla Lark, Rock Bunting, Crested Tit, Firecrest, Short-toed Treecreeper and Common Crossbill.
